Forza is the UK’s leading manufacturer of bespoke timber fire doors and joinery, having delivered more than half a million doors since the business was founded in 2009.

The original team of 12 has grown to 230 over its first 15 years, but Forza remains committed to its aims of delivering quality, driving efficiency and integrating sustainability into everything it does.

Enhanced IT support for a rapidly expanding business

In 2025, the business sought a new IT partner that could support its growth plans with a proactive approach and all-encompassing package of services. Despite a good relationship with the incumbent IT partner, Forza wanted to optimise its investment and felt some aspects of the existing support contract had become reactive, rather than proactive, over time.

Overcoming trepidation with enhanced service

Despite some inevitable trepidation at moving critical services away from a long-standing
partner, Forza turned to Docex360 for a full suite of IT solutions and the leadership team were quickly impressed by the proactivity and expertise demonstrated.

Docex360 was already providing telecoms support and managing print services. In line with Forza’s own ethos of ‘partnership, ingrained’, it was a natural evolution to bring all three services under the same agreement.

Dan Vickery, finance director at Forza Doors, said: “It’s been night and day from a proactivity perspective. Docex360 are making us aware of things coming up and they’re giving us options, both in terms of IT upgrades and how to finance them. Crucially, they come back to us in a reasonable time frame too, whether that’s an IT issue that needs immediate attention, a new user that needs setting up or a long-term infrastructure project.

“We work well together, we know we can add services as we scale, and everything comes back to proactivity and responsiveness. I’ve no doubt the scope will continue to grow as we do.”

Boosting the business as it scales

The agreement covers IT support and infrastructure, licensing, on-site server with backup, email security, cyber training, firewalls and zero trust anti-virus, as well as telecoms and
print services.

A large IT network upgrade has given Forza the digital backbone required to keep growing, with enhanced cyber security at the core of the all-encompassing solution.

Dan Vickery adds: “Cyber security is one of the things that we identified as needing improvement. You think you’re doing the right things, but it was evident just from scratching the surface that we needed to boost our security. Thanks to Docex360, we’re no longer reliant on human processes. We’re doing a number of things more professionally, and that includes digital security measures.”

Ben Hall, Owner/Director at Docex360, said: “As with so many of our clients, this is all about the strength of the relationship. We’ve done audits to see where there are gaps in Forza’s IT infrastructure and we’re moving forward with those improvements and upgrades, as the business scales up. And we’re continuing to focus on the strength of the partnership, which is a core value for both businesses.”
